The Borough 19 Motor Club has enjoyed 50 years recognition by the Royal Automobile Club with the first event under RAC rules and regulations at the Bluebell Rally in 1964.

On Saturday 17th July, Borough 19 Motor Club will be holding a full days sprint at Lydden Hill, including entries from the Tonbridge Wells Motor Club, 7 OAK and Maidstone Car Club. The event takes place on the circuit over a measured distance against the clock. Cars start separately, although there may be up to three cars on the course at any one time. They are open to virtually any car from a perfectly standard road going car to single seater racing cars, divided into classes by types and engine capacity. Competitors are given two or three attempts at completing the circuit.

Come along and see just how fast an ordinary road going car can be driven around the circuit or experience the thrill of watching a single seater race car hurtle around the track.

COVID-19 UPDATE 21/04/21

In order to comply with government guidelines, all events are running behind closed doors until further notice, this includes race meetings, track days and driving experience days.

We are confident that our first event for 2021, whereby spectator attendance will be permitted, will be rounds 1 & 2 of the British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy at the end of May.

We thank everyone for their patience and we are still available to answer calls and emails if you have any concerns.

Stay safe,

The Lydden Hill Team
