British Historic Racing returns to Lydden Hill as part of the much-loved Annual Vintage Bike Festival on the 18th and 19th April 2026, bringing the sights, sounds and smells of classic racing back to life!
Expect thrilling on-track action as legendary machines from the 1950s, 60s and 70s take on the circuit, alongside a stunning display of historic bikes. Off-track, there’s family-friendly entertainment making this a perfect day out for all ages.

Spectator Information
General Visitor Info
To help us, we ask that you;
- Have tickets downloaded and ready to show on the gate
- Car share with friends and family where possible
- Stick to the 10mph speed limit at all times when on site, please take care when moving your vehicle, especially when on grass and/or in wet conditions.
- Please listen to instructions from the parking team at all times
- Please park only in the areas indicated by our marshals. Parking in unauthorised areas can block emergency routes and cause delays.
- Please be mindful of local residents when arriving and leaving, please keep noise to a minimum and follow any temporary road signs in nearby villages.
General Visitor Info
- Although many of the main activities are on hard standing, spectator parking and some viewing areas are on grass, some of which are sloped. Please wear appropriate footwear and take care when walking around the site.
- The paddock is open to spectators to enjoy the bikes. Please remain vigilant and follow instructions from paddock marshals at all times.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. If you become separated from your child, inform a member of the circuit team immediately and head to the main circuit office in the lower paddock.
- Please use the bins provided and help keep the site tidy.
- There are multiple pedestrian exits around the site. In an emergency, follow instructions from staff to reach the nearest exit safely.
- For everyone’s safety, weapons, illegal drugs, and excessive alcohol are strictly prohibited.
- Do not bring your fireworks, sparklers, or Chinese lanterns onto site.
- Consider ear protection for young children or anyone sensitive to loud noise.
- The use of drones or unmanned aerial devices is strictly prohibited.
- Accessible parking and viewing areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please display your blue badge and follow signage.
- If you require medical assistance, alert a marshal or member of the team immediately.
- Please be mindful of other spectators - do not stand on chairs or block pathways.
- Although dogs are welcome, we recommend leaving them at home if they are sensitive to noise. Any dogs brought to the event must be kept on a lead at all times.
- If you have purchased a grandstand ticket, take care when using the grandstand and report any issues to a member of staff immediately.
- All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. The organisers cannot accept liability for any loss or damage.
- For this event, we have had to close the area between paddock bend and the race control tower due to maintenance work, this area will be open to officials only.
Traffic Info
- The postcode for our entrance is CT4 6RY
- Please access the circuit via the A2 only, there will be road closures preventing people from using local villages.
- Will be opening both exits at the end of the event if required
Camping Info
Camping will be on the top tiers for this event, please see map below:
- Gates will open at 12pm Friday 15th April 2026
- There will be onsite catering options open Saturday and Sunday.
- There will be Portaloo toilets on the end of the camping tier as well as permanent toilets in the main paddock
- Please use the effluent tank located near the Portaloo’s for any camping waste
- The camping field is grass and sloped in areas, please take care when manoeuvring around the field
- There will be overnight security, in the case of an emergency, please call 999 first and then make the security guard aware of the situation.
- Fires are not permitted
- BBQ’s are permitted as long as they are raised off of the ground
- Music is not permitted although there is a live band in the beer tent on Saturday evening starting from 6.00pm.
- Please stick to the 10mph speed limit when driving around site
- Please ensure any gas bottles or cooking equipment are stored and used safely, away from tents or vehicles.
- Please vacate the venue by 9pm on Sunday 19th April.
- The camping field can become muddy in wet weather - please bring suitable footwear and ground protection for your tent or awning.
- Please be considerate to neighbouring campers and follow any instructions from marshals or security staff.
- The site is floodlit in the main areas, but we recommend bringing a torch for moving around at night.
