Saturday 8th November – Important Spectator Information
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Lydden Hill Race Circuit for our Fireworks Spectacular — an evening of incredible racing, entertainment, and family fun!
To help everyone enjoy the event safely and smoothly, please take a moment to read the following important visitor, traffic, and camping information before you arrive. These details will help you plan your visit, avoid delays, and make the most of your time with us.
Traffic Information
In an effort to improve traffic flow both into and out of the event, we have implemented several measures for this year’s Fireworks Spectacular:
- Spectator gates will open earlier than usual at 2:30pm. (Please take note of this earlier opening time.)
- Entry will be by pre-sale tickets only — there will be no on-the-gate sales for this event.
- We are working closely with the Right Guard Traffic Management team to help coordinate vehicle flow both within the circuit and in the surrounding villages.
- The top field will be used for spectator parking, allowing guests to park and enter via the pedestrian entrance.
- Both exits will be open at the end of the event to help vehicles leave the site more efficiently.
- We have extended off-track entertainment into the evening, including street food, a funfair, LED shows, and live music, so you can continue to enjoy the atmosphere after the racing rather than heading straight to your car.
To help us keep traffic moving smoothly, we kindly ask that you:
- Have your tickets downloaded and ready to show upon arrival.
- Car share with friends or family where possible to reduce congestion.
- Adhere to the 10mph speed limit on site at all times. Please take extra care when driving on grass or in wet conditions.
- Follow the instructions of parking marshals and stewards at all times.
- Only park in designated areas as directed — parking in unauthorised zones may block emergency access routes and cause delays.
- Be respectful to local residents when arriving and departing the venue: keep noise to a minimum and follow any temporary traffic signs in nearby villages.
General Visitor Information
We look forward to welcoming you to Lydden Hill for an exciting day of racing and fireworks. Please take note of the following information to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit:
- While most activities take place on hardstanding areas, spectator parking and some viewing points are on grass, some of which may be sloped. Please wear suitable footwear and take care when walking around the site.
- The paddock is open to spectators — please remain alert and follow all instructions from paddock marshals.
- Main areas will be floodlit, but we recommend bringing a torch for your journey back to your vehicle.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. If you become separated, please alert a member of staff immediately and proceed to the main circuit office (located in the lower paddock).
- Please use the bins provided and help keep the site clean.
- In an emergency, follow staff instructions to reach the nearest pedestrian exit safely.
- Do not bring your own fireworks, sparklers, or Chinese lanterns — these are strictly prohibited.
- For safety reasons, weapons, illegal drugs, and excessive alcohol are not permitted on site.
- Ear protection is strongly recommended for young children or anyone sensitive to loud noise.
- The use of drones or unmanned aerial devices is strictly prohibited.
- Accessible parking and viewing areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please display your Blue Badge and follow the signage.
- If you require medical assistance, please inform a marshal or staff member immediately.
- Be considerate of fellow spectators — do not stand on chairs or block walkways.
- Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. If your dog is sensitive to loud noises, we recommend leaving them at home.
- Grandstand ticket holders: please take care when using the grandstand and report any issues to staff immediately.
- Motorsport can be dangerous. Despite all precautions taken, you attend at your own risk.
- Due to the nature of Rallycross, please be aware of flying gravel and debris.
- Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. The organisers cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
