The second Lydden Legend Festival will be held on June 13th & 14th 2026 following the huge success of the inaugural event of its kind in the UK in 2024. Lydden Legend Festival’s sister event in France, the Loheac Legend Festival, held its second edition in May 2025 with an even stronger celebration of the glory of period rallycross and rally machinery.
Lydden Legend Festival is gearing up to improve on what has come before, with fans set to be dazzled by an incredible show of on-track demonstrations from the worlds of rallycross and rallying, with even more retro cars on static displays in the paddock for fans to get ultra close to the icons.
The 2026 edition is set to host an increased roster of stars and cars from across both disciplines, celebrating a number of specific anniversaries while collating iconic machinery together in one location.
Highlights of the 2024 Lydden Legend Festival included the first time Group B rallycross cars had performed in specific races in decades, with drivers like Francois Delecour in action in a Ford RS200. Former champions also drove title-winning cars in the 90s Supercar category, while in the rally division, a wonderful and diverse range of rally machinery from all eras took part in the on-track rally stage sessions.
As in 2024, the 2026 event will also include Autograph Sessions and Live Interviews throughout the weekend.
