VC Deal Cyclocross

New to Lydden Hill for 2021, East Kent cyclocross as organised by VC Deal will be coming to the track.

But what is Cyclocross?

With many considering cyclocross similar to a triatholon, the emerging sport combines two different elements to form the race – Riding and running, with a focus on the skill of the rider when handling the bike.

The majority of cyclocross races are held as either 1km to 3km races, typically running at a set timespan which varies from race to race and club to club, mixing tarmac, dirt, mud, run-ups and elevation changes.

For the moment, this event is planned to run behind closed doors. However, if the circumstances change we will update this page.
