The Borough 19 Motor Club has enjoyed 50 years recognition by the Royal Automobile Club with the first event under RAC rules and regulations at the Bluebell Rally in 1964.

On Saturday 13th JulyBorough 19 Motor Club will be holding the Ray Heal Memorial Sprint. This will be a full days sprint event at Lydden Hill, including entries from several Championships such as the Aston Martin Owners Club, TWMC All Circuit Sprint Championship, Maidstone Motor Club and 10+ other championships!

Drivers will take to the circuit over a measured distance racing against the clock. The cars will be started separately, although there can be up to three cars on the course at any given time.

These guys are all about promoting grassroots motorsport, so virtually any car from a perfectly standard road going car to a single seater racing car can enter. All entries will be divided into classes by types and engine capacity, who will then be given two or three attempts at completing the circuit in the quickest lap time possible.

So come along and see one of the nations foremost sprint clubs show off just how fast an ordinary road going car can be driven around the circuit, or spectate thrilling single seater race cars hurtle around the track!
