The Classic Festival returns as a weekend event on the 7th & 8th July 2018. As the birth place of rallycross, a celebration of group B rally and rallycross will take place on Saturday 7th with demos and passenger rides in the genuine group B cars alongside testing from CTCRC and demos from the British Historic Karts. Racing from the Classic Touring car club will then take place on the Sunday 8th.
The classic touring car racing club (CTCRC), which was established in 1974, has evolved and expanded to now encompass eight different championships. With championships categorized by the year of manufacture the club offers on track action from pre 1966 classic and historic touring cars up to pre 2005 touring cars.
Classic car displays, trade stands, autojumble, childrens entertainment, live music, catering village and more are sure to keep you entertained off circuit! Why not make a weekend out of it and enjoy the Saturday night entertainment with camping costing just £5 per person per night.
Drivers with a classic vehicle will be admitted at half price and children under 13yrs free.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE A2 WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN 8PM-6AM.
Due to weather conditions we do ask that there are no BBQ’s on site.
