On 28th April 1946 a band of 38 enthusiasts assembled at the Lounge Cafe, Hog’s Back, Guildford, Surrey, with the object of forming a Motor Cycle. Following several committee and name changes the VMOC was formed who’s mission is to ensure that “Vintage” machines are best kept out of Museums and are ridden-hard. This will be fully demonstrated at this ever popular Vintage Motorcycle festival taking place at Lydden 22nd & 23rd June.

A huge variety of racing machinery will be seen with an action packed full weekend race program featuring 28 races with categories including motorcycles up to 1949 and 1962 to name a few, Sidecars, Scooters, Morgan three wheelers and a race for riders aged over 50years old. It will also include an off track trade village featuring new motorcycles, bike accessories, traders and a bike auto jumble together with a food court and bar, and a children’s fun zone. This promises to be a great weekend for the whole family which can not be missed!
